Whole Beef Deposit
Weight
Average hanging weight is approx. 600 lbs (hanging weight is the weight of the carcass after initial slaughter once the hide, organs, head and feet have been removed. This weight still includes the trim, which is the fat and bones). This is the weight used to calculate the price/lb for the meat and the butchering fees. This is typical for farm direct ordering.
Average packaged weight is approx. 360 lbs (this is the amount that will end up in your freezer once the order has been trimmed, cut and wrapped).Price
Approximate all-in price is $4350, plus butcher fees. The final price is based on the weight of the carcass, which can vary from animal to animal. However, any fluctuation in the final price will directly reflect the amount of beef you will end up with.
Deposit + Invoicing + Methods of Payment
We require a $300 deposit to pre-order. Balance is due at order pick up/delivery. Deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to your estimated “ready” date. Please click here for more on our cancellation policy.
